New Eubanks Model 2940 Automatic Cable Cutter Dramatically Cuts Cost Of Stripping Thick CableLow-cost unit strips 5/8-in-diameter cable in high volume at less than half the price of competitive models
The AirStrip 2940 produces up to 30 percent more stripping power than other Eubanks pneumatic AirLine™ models enabling it to cut and strip thick cable at rates up to 1,300 pieces per hour. "Design efficiency has enabled us to deliver the 2940 at a price that is less than half that of competitive units. When you combine its lower purchase price with its ability to produce in greater volume, the effective total savings will be even more significant," said Phil McNamee, Eubanks's Engineering and Production Manager. "Due to the previously high cost of such equipment, many volume users of cable this thick still strip insulation laboriously by hand. We feel that labor savings alone through high-speed, unattended operation of the AirStrip 2940, should enable full return on investment in a very short time." The AirStrip 2940 boasts new cutterhead and strip assembly designs and new embedded software that enable it to handle most materials between .190-in. and .625-in. thick. AirStrip 2940 machines are available two weeks ARO and list for $19,000. of its AirStrip 2940 automatic wire stripper.
