This machine consists of a Model 2700-IV (see description below), equipped to
cut to length fiber optic cables with an encased Kevlar strength member and strip
the outer insulation from each end.
With standard equipment, the 2700 will process wire sizes from 26 to 12 AWG.
With optional kits, it will handle wire as small as 32 AWG and as large as .290"O.D.
When equipped for wire-wrap stripping, wire lengths may be reduced to a point
where as little as ½" of insulation remains on the wire. For example,
a 3-inch wire may be stripped 1¼" on each end. It will produce wire
lengths from 1 inch to 99.99 inches in .01 inch increments. You can change the
increments to 0.1 inch and the maximum length to 999.9 inches by pressing the
X10 key on the control panel.
Model 4150 Automatic Steel Cable Cutter and
Stripper
The Model 4150 is a special-order machine that
cuts steel cable, bare or insulated, up to 3/8" in diameter. It will fully
strip one end 1/2" to 5/8" and semi-strip up to 3/4" on one or
both ends. It is designed for high speed cutting and stripping of steel cables
for automotive, aircraft, boat, and security industries.
